Meet Greg A. Fouks

Greg grew up in Hudson, WI and Stillwater, MN, the beautiful river communities on the St. Croix River.  He loved fishing, biking, water skiing and all sports growing up.  He has never lost the desire to play and watch athletic events. At Stillwater High School, he won the Kolliner Award for the ‘most outstanding’ student athlete in 1970 and was inducted into the Stillwater Hall of Fame in 2007. He played college basketball for St. Cloud State University.

His career included leadership and management roles at Securian Financial, Marketing One, Tor Dahl & Associates and HRValue Group.  He was an entrepreneur in the database management and executive search industries and hired over 2,000 employees, including over 150 C-suite leaders in the financial services industry.

His last position was as the President of the James J. Hill Center, the former reference library in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota.  He and his team were transforming the Center into a business and entrepreneurial organization.

Personally, he loves the color UCLA blue, the number 10 and rag-top cars. His hobbies are golf, tennis and the company of great friends he and his wife have made over the years.  But the most fun he has ever had is being and playing with his grandkids Emma, Payton, Cardin and Ellis. Of course, under the watchful eye of their parents. He desperately wants them to learn and apply the Kid$Vest techniques so they achieve their own personal DreamLife.

His 30 plus-years involvement in the financial services industry and his love of personal investing, has allowed him to write The Kid$Vest Strategy and develop the Kid$Vest Financial Binder. He is hopeful that parents and teachers will invest time in educating all American kids how to budget, save and invest in their dreams and become financially secure!
